Hello and thank you for reading our recruitment post, I know there are 1000’s of guilds looking to bolster their own ranks. We at [WV] are looking for new and veteran players in WvW that are either familiar with the Borderlands, Eternal Battle Grounds, or what a lot of our core members like to do which is Edge of the Mist. Most of us here enjoy WvW zerg busting and hopped from T1 servers to the T4-T5 server, Darkhaven.
For those who are new we are willing to teach a build they like while also showing how useful it can be in both PvP and WvW applications. We also do Commander Training, in which we all do a guild run and all hop onto Team Speak and if it’s more less an off time or if we broke the enemies early, we will often let a new commander of us try to command as well as giving advice to watch out for and movement patterns to be wary of, and of course battle placement, I wish this was not the reason a lot of PUGmanders fail in EotM as some will charge an enemy on a field that was never meant to battle on (And if you are one of those commanders I feel sorry for you, and if you are of the exception you know who you are and I congratulate you about being better than the lesser).
We do not have very strict rules or requirements as we are also looking to expand into PvE a little, but here they are none-the-less:
-We might call on you if you say your more WvW oriented if we need more numbers to run an event or help save our side in EotM or to help us take over the Borderlands/EBG
-Reping while we are running and doing an event is important to us that is our rep requirement, we would love to have people rep 24/7 but lets be real you most likely have another guild as your main one
-If you are more or less set for PvE or prefer more PvE events, we will be starting to cater more events each week for if people are interested in that, if we do an event and you come you will be asked to rep and possibly be on our TS.
-We joke and mess around with each other so you will need some thick skin, but when it comes to our guild doing events unless its impromptu then expect a more serious setting.
-Seeing as we are a NA guild we would prefer English as the preferred language.
-If you said you are more WvW inclined or PvE and if you haven’t done an event with us for a week you will be added to our inactive along with inactive people and within 3-5 days if you do not answer back when we email or whisper you if you are on, you will be effectively eliminated from our guild.
-The last rule of us is to really have fun, we got a nice core and hoping to expand it by helping with transfers to Darkhaven if we see you are committed and if rest of management agrees you will be a valuable asset to our server.
